Hello, I have built a PC for gaming and now I want it to expand it to work as a "media center" as well. Right now it has HDMI output to the TV, so I am able to play games, watch movies, etc using the TV.

But now I also want to enable the PC to record TV shows using Windows Media Center, like a Tivo device.
I've been looking around and found that the normal TV Tuners do not allow encrypted channels (HBO, Stars, Discovery, etc). That is a MUST for me, since I am already paying for those services from Comcast.
I've read that I need a CableCard Tuner to be able to do it.

A few questions?
1. Are there any other devices beside "ATI TV Wonder Digital Cable Tuner" that will allow me to do this?
I have read that the ATI Digital Cable Tuner (even the external one) will not run on homebuilt systems. Only manufacturer certified systems.

2. Is there any other option besides using a CableCards that will allow me to see my encrypted channels?

3. What would you recommend?
