Which cpu cooler would provide the best cooling for my 1055t? I am looking to oc to 3.5-3.6 ghz, with temps never reaching close to 60c. I have been looking at the corsair hydro h50 water cooler- but that is probably more than I'd like to spend. What kind of performance numbers would I be looking at with that cooler, and do you have any recommendations for cheaper? Thanks!

Hi.

What is ur budget?. Here are some options more cheap that the H50 and with the same performance.

1- Hyper 212+
2- Titan Fenrir
3- Megahalems
4- Thermaltake Frio

I'd like to keep it at around hyper 212 plus territory ($30-$40). So the 212 can get me to 3.6 under 60c at load? And d you think it will fit in a thermaltake element g? If so that would be perfect!

Here are the dimensions:

Case: 480 x 230 x 521 (HxWxL) mm
Cooler: 158.5 x 79.7 x 120 (HxWxL)mm

The cooler fit in ur case without problems.

Now I have a TT V9 that is a very similar fan configuration of the Element G and I get 70C @ 3.8GHz with a X4 955 in load with OCCT.

Also, can you reccomend a second fan for the 212 plus? Id prefer it to be cheap.

Nice temps! can you think of a second fan thats fairly cheap for the 212 plus? Would it still fit in the element g?

cool! One last question, where do I buy the 212 plus? The estimated shipping on amazon was 1 to 2 months! And on newegg, the price is like $60 with shipping! Should I get it from tiger direct? Or is their a better place?

+ 2 OvrClkr NICE find, Newegg has gone crazy with their price. Here's a shot of my AMD system with the CM Hyper 212 Plus with 2 Antec Tri cool 120 mm fans set at "medium" speed for "push/pull" in a CM Storm Scout case. I had to remove the top door fan, and move it to the HSF for clearance. I had about a 1/2" clearance to the door.

Here's some stability screenshots @ 4.0 Ghz, Max temp is 56c, and OCCT linpack tops out at 57c.

I love this cooler, this looks like a 6" flaming cube in the system.
