BIOS won't save changes, cpu X6800/680i mobo

I like to run Enhanced halt state enabled in the bios so the cpu idles at lower temps. Right now i'm running 3666mhz 333x11. Im trying to change it to 3800mhz, but when ever the os sends the signal to go into halt state my settings reverte back to being @3666, even the voltages change back my old OC. Is halte state able to do that? Change bios settings without asking me?

Its like if halte state has a ceiling of 333x6 (or 1999mhz when halted). Is it the case?
