Getting hd 4870 today

will it make me get better framerates? i run this:

msi k9a2 cf v2
2gb corsair 800mhz
athlon x2 5000 3ghz
2hdds one sata and one ide

will i see a considerable change from my hd 3870?

depends on the size of your monitor.

If its larger than 1680x1050, i would say its worth it.
