Cpu multiplier constantly changing

Hello, i downloaded cpuz to monitor my hardware and it shows me that the multiplier is changers every few seconds from 8x to 6x. I have an e6400 @2.13 but the multiplier changing causes it to change to 1.6ghz. I'm confused, does any1 see the problem?
