I just got an aftermarket cooler for my CPU (Athlon II X4 635) and i thought i would see how far i could push it. I got it to run stable at around 3.85Ghz If i go much higher it just restarts after around 30 minutes of use. But still 3,85? It seems a lot higher than i have been reading is normal for this processor. So thats my question. Is it normal to be able to overclock the 635 so much?

Information you might want to know:
V-core is manually set at 1.52
Motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-MA790X
The RAM is just 2x2gb kingston 667mhz sticks
Temps are around 40 degrees celcius when idle and 60 at max when fully loaded

I'm very interested in the overclocking of this processor and I'm thinking to buy it...But I've never overclocked any processor in my life, so, I'd like to make you some questions:

a).-How many cooler fans do yo have in your PC case?

b).-I don't understand "667mhz" sticks: what does it mean?

c).-60ºC at full load is not too much?.

d).-Where did you buy this motherboard? . I haven't found this exactly...

I've never seen such an overclocking for this processor: I've always seen overclocks around 3'4Ghz and 3'6GHz (modifying the CPU voltages)... I'd like to see higher increments than 15% (3'35Ghz more or less).

Thank you.

a: I have 3 fans installed they came with my case: Cooler Master HAF 922

b: It is just the speed of my installed RAM

c: 60 degrees is not bad at all

d: I can buy it in pretty much every online PC store in my country
