Can I raid 2 different brands of ssds?

I have intel , and i want a mushkin ssd , can I raid them togther?.. or does it need to be same brand?

It should work fine. You won't see a 100% increase in speed, but you'll notice the difference.

Why? Even tho it's my set up, I wouldn't recommend RAID 0ing SSDs!
Unless you know about the "special Set-up" required, for lose of TRIM, etc.

go get a set of OCZ vertex they have garbage collection built into the firmware of the drive.
read further here, Even works in raid.
