I am a subscriber to DIRECTV, I gave up cable because of dissatisfaction
with the company. A few days ago I received a letter from DIRECTV saying
that our 1 year anniversary had arrived and they were "giving" me a free 3
months of SHOWTIME! Now that is a first. Here I have been a customer of
Cable for years and they never gave me anything free! DIRECTV sure
surprised me and made me a customer for life if they continue with such good
customer relations ploys. Normally most places give discounts to the newly
joined and forget about long term customers. This was neat and I sent them
an e-mail thanking them and letting them know how I felt.
