Hi, I am going to be building my first gaming PC soon and was thinking of getting an Intel E8500 processor, an ATI HD 4870 1GB and 4gb of RAM. Will these work well together or will there be some performance issues?
Thanks

Something like 500W would be the minimum, unless you have a Crossfire MB and plan to add a second card at some point.

Check out the 650TX or the S75CF at newegg, those are excellent PSUs and can handle HD 4870 CF.

Thanks for the help :D
I have been reading forums and have heard that the 4870 is a huge card. Do you think it will fit in a Cooler Master Centurion 5?
Thanks

Thanks for that, ill go with the 690 case.
Also, could anyone suggest a good/affordable motherboard that is suitable for the ATI HD 4870 card (socket 775)
Thanks
