Msconfig problem

i went to msconfig on windows xp deselected some items and now the computer won't respond to anything. how do i resolve this issue

Can you boot in safe mode?

You could try starting in safe mode and reapply the setting in msconfig, if that doesn't work you will need to insert you operating system CD and run a repair on your OS.

try pressing f8 on startup, booting into safe mode and running msconfig again to un-do your mistakes....

If you cant get into safe mode start from your win cd it will ask you what you want to do. One of the options is to repair your windows with the recovery console.
