I'm using a Topfield 3000CIPro with the latest firmware. Now in the on
screen info box I see two indicators: a green horizontal bar, and a yellow
horizontal bar below the first. The manual is very brief about this and
says: "signal level and quality".
Does anyone know which colour is which? And, what is meant by quality?

Probably in that order.

> And, what is meant by quality?

It relates to the percentage of faulty data received. Digital sat
broadcasting standards can cope with up to about 60% faults before
collapsing so any reading above 40% will probably provide a good
picture. However you should aim to get this quality reading as high as
possible to ensure good reception in poor weather. The strength
reading is not important at all.

I forgot to add to my message:
The green bar on top indicates mostly about 85 - 90%.
The yellow bar allways indicates more: 95% - 100%

During very heavy rain I can see the indicators fall back somewhat, but the
image and sound remain good. I have fine tuned the dish and the LNB's
(skew).

Nothing to worry about there then.
