Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Stable: 3.6-3.7GHz max with high temps
Non stable: 3.8GHz or more with very high temps.
  2. Thank you. Just needed stability until I change to an after market cooler. any suggestions on a good cooler?
    also what range of voltage?
  3. Your welcome.

1- What would be the budget for the cooler? A very good cooler for price/performance is the Cooler Master Hyper 212+
2- I think that u can get the 3.6GHz with stock voltage, just try to do it and test the rig with prime95, LinX or OCCT for stability if u get BSoD rise the voltage a little.
  4. Not worried on price really just trying to push the system. Having a lil fun doing it. I don't want to go water just air should be sufficient.

  6. Good, like I say the Hyper 212+ is a very good option.

Remember check the temps with the OC u don't want kill ur CPU. ;)
