I just Built a new computer, and the bios is not detecting the hard or DVD drive just the floppy drive. besides that everything else is working fine.

If it helps here is the set up I'm useing:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200 Brisbane 2.7GHz

Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

MSI K9N2GM-FD AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

a lite on DVD drive I bought at walmart

Antec NeoPower 550 550W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Any help would be greatly appreceated.

Also the bios version is V1.2 if that helps.

Well I got my hard drive to work I had it in one of the 2 deactivated sata ports.

 

But I still can't get my IDE DVD drive(model number is DH-20A4P33C) to work, I tried changing some things in the bios, trying a different drive, and trying a different IDE cable still can't get it to work.

 

Anyone have any ideas?
