When we setup our new computer, we use Mozilla as our search engine and I deleted out out the program list Explorer, when I did this did I lose windows cd writing wizard capabilities?

Mozilla is not a search engine, it's an internet browser. You can't uninstall I.E., it's part of the O.S., unless you have one of the rare computers where MS was forced to un-bundle the two.

Just download and install I.E. again.
