well the pentium dual core is 45nm where as thats a slightly older motherbaord may have some issues it will support the older pentium dual cores just need to check if it can support the new 45-nm ones, may just need a bio update.

id find the modle of the motherbaord and check what its says or email the motherbaord manufacture
