CPU fan full speed when waking computer?

MOBO is a xfx 680i lt. CPU a E8400 with an aftermarket cooler.

When I wake from sleep the auto from the bios never seems to kick in and the fan just spins at full speed. Is there anyway for the auto in the bios to kick in and control fan speeds when waking from sleep?

Try clearing the CMOS or flashing the BIOS.
