A lot of ram out there says that you can do 5-5-5 at 1.8v, but there are a lot of people on their forums having problems, and the tech support says to raise the voltage to 2.0v to solve the problem, which just sounds like false advertisement.

Which ram out there can run at PC6400, 5-5-5 @ 1.8v? And the JEDEC standard says that pc6400 memory runs at 6-6-6 or 5-5-5. Does that change with the size of the sticks or what?

Because I'm trying to get 2X2gb kits, for 2gb modules, is the JEDEC standard different than smaller modules?

Yep, there's a lot of at least misleading advertising out there. OCZ seems to be big on higher-than-1.9V products.

The standard allows +/-0.1V for DDR2, so 1.9V is acceptable. I've never had any problems running Corsair XMS2 1.8-1.9V-rated RAM at 1.9V. In general, if the RAM doesn't work at 1.9V, you just have to insist that your vendor or the manufacturer replace it with non-defective RAM, or refund your money.

Yes, I'm talking about OCZ specifically, their ram is advertised as 1.8v, but needs 2.0v to run, I consider this false advertising. No wonder OCZ had to get a "come back" a few years ago.

Is CL6 ram for DDR2 PC6400 too bad for the purpose of gaming? Because I can choose between these ram:

http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CT2KIT25664AA800 $55
http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/KVR800D2N5K2_4G.pdf $62.5
http://www.mushkin.com/doc/products/memory_detail.asp?id=643 $68

They are all at 1.8v, the crucial is the cheapest, but runs at CL6, the other ones are at CL5.
