I'm putting together a new system for school and also gaming, and I'm torn between two the ASRock P45XE and the Gigabyte EP45-UD3L. So far I'm planning on a Core 2 Duo E8400 and a Powercolor radeon 4850. I've got 4GB of PC2-6400 corsair RAM. I'm not planning on overclocking it, at least not right away. Has anyone used these motherboards who can recommend one or the other?

The Gigabyte is a more "premium" brand and they have a good history of extended support with BIOS updates and so forth.

+1 for the Gigabyte...

Gigabyte has a better reputation. Their overlocking ability is about the same.
