Yes.. It'll support..

As your board have PCI Express x16 bus, it'll be o.k.

real issue is that DG31 PR is smaller in size micro atx board while gtx 9800+ is a large gpu, local dealer said that due to their size difference it will not work properly. I have 2.50 ghz dual core processor 4 gb ram 600 w power supply and dg31 pr motherboard.

PCI-E slots are same size on all motherboards. It's the clearance between motherboard and hdd bays of cabinet that should accomodate the graphics card. See if you have enough space.
