Did crucial fix the problem with their Ballistix DDR2s yet, or do they just not care?

I had one stick of the Ballistix go kaput so I RMA'd it. I have 2GB now but it's two sticks so I wonder if I should sell them considering the price of 4GB kits. Also, I wonder if I should go for a DDR3 RAM mobo and system build. ???

definatly... go for a 4GB kit. prices are really convenient. I have a 4gb crucal ballistix tracer pack and they rlz :P

the only way moving to ddr3 is convenient, is if you upgrade to i7 processor. If not, stay cool where you are. No need for ddr3... no big differences you will notice.
