This makes me nuts. I have 2 Sapphire HD3870 cards. exact same. When I setup crossfire I only see 1 listed in the graphics adapter in CCC configure. in the Overdrive tab the 1st card is listed as ATI Radeon 3800 series[JW199D] and the 2nd is listed as ATI Radeon 3800 series. heres the question. How do I know if Crossfire is even working? I seriously doubt that it is. Is there a link that show s a picture of how to set this up? I mean literally half of the posts say use 2 bridges, what direction do the bridges go, other than a check box to enable crossfire how do I know its working. AAAggghhh!

OCZ 700 watt power supply
MB GIGABYTE GA-X38-DS4 775 RT
4 gb OCZreaper ddr2
32 bit Vista
Q6600 at stock speeds
2 Sapphire HD3870 512 pci expess 2 cards

I know I am supposed to check other threads but I'm having know luck.
Just a nudge in the right direction please

well, when I had it working, if it's checked, it should be working. To check it, run 3dMark06 and do the Fill Rate test I believe they will be roughly double with it enabled compared to with it disabled.
