Core i7 D0 steeping

Hello there,

I am in the market for core i7 920 D0 steeping. Where can i find it either online or stores in california bay area. I can find one advertised as D0 , but they charge over 300$. This is too much. Do you guys know where i can buy it at reasonable price.

Also, make sure you say "stepping" when you're out shopping, not "steeping" when out shooping . Steeping is what you do with a tea bag, IIRC.

I had a defective 920 from Newegg and after the RMA went through my new CPU was a D0. I recieved that about 2 weeks ago. Newegg goes through these pretty quick so their stock is always circulated faster. There are some that guarantee a D0 stepping, but they are smaller sites and charge a premium.

If you are a serious Overclocker and REQUIRE a D0 stepping 920, then pay the premium to make sure you get it. Otherwise just buy one from Newegg and hope you get one. Even if it's a C0, they will OC to 3.8 with a good cooler.
