So my old 7600GS video card burned out, and I'm looking for a replacement ( I'm NOT using a 5200FX ). My video card is also AGP, so that limits my options.

I found three cards on newegg within my price range:

SAPPHIRE 100258L Radeon HD 3650 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 - $79.99
POWERCOLOR AG3850 512MD3 Radeon HD 3850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 - $114.99
SAPPHIRE 100228L Radeon HD 3850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 - $119.99

I ruled out the first one; while cheaper, it is also quite a bit insufferior to the other two ( 128bit vs 256bit, GDDR2, etc )
However, between the other two, I'm not sure which to get; they're both about the same price. I've never heard of PowerColor before though, and it only has one review, so I'm not too sure about it...

What do you guys think?

Those prices are outrageous. You can get a 4850 HD for $129.
I dont know if you want to invest that much into an old agp system.
Maybe you should look on ebay or craigslist for those gpu's.

for less than the price of that 3650, you could get a pci-express 4830. you might want to seriously consider building a new system.

Don't bother putting anymore money in that AGP system. Your hardware will not even allow the full potential of the cards... so you'll be wasting your money. Save up and build a new system.

I realize that I should make a new system...
but can someone just tell me which one is better?

If i were in your place i would just get the 3650.. The 3850 will be a waste of money because you won't be using all it's potential.
