I have a Dell E521, specifications here: http://support.dell.com/support/ed [...] #wp1052310 . I recently bought 2 x 2GB sticks on RAM and just found out that my motherboard (nForce 430) does not support it. I just wanted to make sure that my computer is compatible with 2 sets of (1GB x 2) of this memory:

bgolds99 why do you think the 2x2 ram is not supported,not saying you don't know.but if it is 800 ddr2 it should work because your mobo supports up to 4 gig.what is the 2x2 ram?

Well on that specifications page, it says: "Memory capacities 256 MB, 512 MB, or 1 GB non-ECC" This original RAM I ordered was: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231122

bgolds99 you are correct the first ram you ordered will not work,but the second ones should sense they are unbuffered ram.that's one thing bad about company's like dell, gateway,hp, etc they make it hard to do a simple upgrade for the pc's.sorry about the 2x2 gig.hope the 1 gig work out for you.
