ok so i got a pentium D 935 3.2 CPU, 350w power supply, 2 1gig sticks of ddr2 ram, and a PCI geforce gfx card.

looking for a motherboard that will support that, a Seagate Barracuda SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive and hopefully the board wont cost an arm and a leg but still be decent for gaming

the problem is i have been looking on newegg. and the board a friend helped me pick last time is no longer listed. so i need help picking a new one

Does it matter if the motherboard is mATX or ATX? I would maybe look at an Intel G31/G33 board if you want an mATX motherboard. Also, Is your CPU Socket 478 or LGA 775? I can't remember if they made Pentium D's for 478. Other wise if you have LGA775, look at a P43/P45 motherboard, little more expensive, but the best for LGA 775. Also I hope your gfx card is PCIe, and not PCI. Big performance and compatibility issue. Gigabyte and ASUS are your best bet. G Luck.

MSI G31M3-F LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard is the board i was looking at on newegg cheap and seems to be a nice board, but im clueless when it comes to intel to many sockets and variations makes my head spin.
