I have following system:
Processor: Pentium 4, 2.66 G Hz
Motherboard: IBM 845
RAM: 512Mb + 512Mb = 1Gb DDR1
O.S: Windows XP Service pack II

Q: I have upgraded bios of my board but there is a problem. My bios values are changed when i shut down my PC & starts it later. All boot media values come to the default values. System date becomes 01-01-2001.
When i start PC it displays 2 errors on boot screen given below:
BIOS Shadowed
No Processor Update found.

Although my system is running quite well but it takes about 3 minutes to start due to BIOS value change of boot option.

Where did you load that BIOS from? I hope from an ibm site.

Here is my two cents:

"[System ?] BIOS Shadowed" means that the BIOS was copied to shadow RAM. It is barely possible that you need a new CMOS battery.

For "No Processor Update Found" enter BIOS setting to load default settings and then enter the proper speed for your processor.

Let us know how it turns out.

I agree with MikeJRamsey it could be the CMOS battery is on its way out. One more thing, did you remove the CMOS battery to clear the bios after flashing?

@Mike, that's a cool last name, mine 2.
