Hi there,

This is my BOX

Mainboard - LANPARTY UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G - old
CPU- AMD x64 @5600+ - old + Cooler Master Hyper 212 -new
Memory- 2x 1GB Kingston DDR II -old
Video - Gigabyte Geforce gtx 285 - new
2x HDD(sata) WD 1x 80GB(OS) 1x 500GB(Stuff) - aprox new
Power S - Cooler master 620w - new

So...I use Ubuntu for daly use and XP for games... A few days ago i have unplugged my pc while it was on... Then i started it and ubuntu was working fine. But when i've tried to boot into XP, it was loading slow and after some time freezed.

I tried to reinstall windows (Vista, Seven) replace hard drives, replace all parts (except for MB), reset bios, etc.. Still windows didnt work.

I went with it to a local repair shop and they said is main board. But still ... linux works.

How Linux (tried Mandriva, SuSE, Ubuntu) works with no problems and Windows is not? Where is the problem?

Thank you in advance.

PS: Please ignore my bad English.
