Hi everyone, I am having a strange problem with my PC, when I go to boot it, I get no video output, no POST, no boot.
I can clear the CMOS and then everything works as it should, I get video, POST and boot to a fully operational OS, but my CPU runs slower due to the default FSB speed. If I reboot at this stage, I get the same problem again.
So I clear CMOS again, this time go into the BIOS settings and hit Load optimised defaults, save and exit - same problem again.

Basically, I can only boot if I clear the CMOS, and even then, I can only boot one time before having to repeat the process.

Thanks for any help.

It wouldn't let me edit.

I decided to try reinstalling the BIOS to see if that had any effect, it seems to have done the trick. My CPU is now running at it's rated speed, and the time is correct, so far so good.
