I going to buy a new PC this month. By budget is around 1300$. All the prices given have been converted from Pakistani Rupees to

US Dollars, taken from a local computer store. But I am confused between these two system packages. Which one should I select

and why?
Please help me choose! Which will give me the best bang for my buck and last somewhat longer?

Thanks in advance!

The first one is better for work (better CPU and larger hard drive).

The second one is better for playing games (better video card, better monitor).

The first system can become (much) better for playing games than the second if you add a second XFX 4850 card. That is OK if the power supply you get with it is 550W or larger. It can become about the same for playing games as the second if you replace the XFX 4850 with a HD 4870 1GB.

The second system has no room to grow because you cannot use two GTX 260 cards in SLI on a P5QC.

I'd prefer WD hard drives these days because Seagate has some technical problems.

You should add Vista 64-bit to the list,
