My New System - Any Suggestions?

Hey guys, i've lurked this site for a long time. Anyway, I am in the process of building a new system and was looking to get some general feedback.

Parts:
(Case) Raidmax Smilodon
(PSU) PC Power and Cooling 750 Silencer
(CPU) AMD Phenom II 940
(Mobo) MSI K9A2 Platinum
(CPU Cooler) Xigmatek Dark Knight
(Video) Powercolor HD 4870
(Memory) Corsair Dominator 1066 {2 x 2gb}
(HDD) Western Digital Greenpower 750gb
(DVD-RW) Samsung SuperWrite 22x

I plan on overclocking this machine and using it primarily for gaming and occasionally for schoolwork and research.

The build looks fine. I personally prefer Gigabyte and Asus, but I'm sure the MSI board will be fine. I'd also ditch the "Green" HD for a Blue or Black model. Are you getting a 64-bit OS so you can use all 4GB of RAM?

Yeah, not a big fan of MSI. The only actual board from MSI I ever owned was OK, I guess. They seem to have a higher fail rate than Gigabyte or ASUS.

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately I've already ordered everything, I just wanted to know if I would have to look out for anything major. I sleeved all the cables (except PSU which were already sleeved) and had to tweak the case a little bit (had to remove the side window fans and the "dirktooth" bar) because the video card and that heatsink were a little too beefy.

Has anyone created an OC guide for the Phenom II? I've looked around and haven't found anything really definitive.

should you be considering a 790GX based board instead?

Not a huge fan of the case, but to each his own I guess.
