Yes, but i7 memory usually comes in threes (triple-channel), compared to the traditional two (dual-channel). You might end up not being able to use one or even two of the sticks you bought.

yep, but what about the voltages??

A motherboard will recognize automaticly the super low voltage use on these tri-channel memories? or u have to set it yourselve?

i mean, so it won't fry the memory?
