The title says it all. I want to use the Vista Media Center to record tv shows and later watch them on my TV using xbox 360 extender.

Standard def is fine, over the air HD is ok but my cable signal is SD.

I'm confused because there are cards from $20 to $200 and they all seem to have the same features.
