This shows a picture that is equal to the board. The only problem with this is that it says the board supports DDR, but it doesn't.
I bought a ddr ram card and had to go and change it for a DDR2.
When I went to change it, I bought two 2gb ddr2 cards. I am running xp on this and I can only see 2gb.
Anyone know if there is any way of getting the other 2gb? I have cpu-z and also everest and both see the 2 gb rams
EDIT: I am using win xp pro 32 bit. Would it have made a difference if I used the 64bit version? I am planning to put ubuntu server 64bit version on the machine (the cpu supports 64 bit instruction set)

Yes You Need A 64-Bit OS To See More Than 3GB Of RAM
thats a rubbish VIA chipset for you - it will not take most 2gb sticks, only showing 1gb per stick - this is a hardware limitation, not a software limitation or error - your chipset doesnt know how to handle 2gb sticks.
Sure, there's always a work around...Buy a new motherboard and CPU to match, then install a 64 bit OS of your choice and add memory to your hearts content, or at least your wallets!
