Hey guys,
My computer still in working shape even without the CMOS battery. Has that ever happened to anyone and what the effects of not having the CMOS battery in? I was wondering if it would be bad to not have one at all and what, if any problems it would cause.
It will lose all settings, including time as soon as your power off the PSU or you have a power failure. Other than that, nothing to worry about. Can't you afford the cost of a new battery?
Then how did the battery escape lol? Hmmmm . . . maybe if you take the vid card out, then put a new battery in, then put the vid card back in . . . yeah, that's the ticket.

Sheesh!
But that's just so much work, and he has to do it so very often.
