Is CM hyper 212+ good for my E7200?

Heyo everyone I have a Core 2 Duo E7200 processor running at 2.82GHz(yeah that's tooooo slow when compared with your CPUs). So I want to overclock it to nice clock speeds. Will the CM hyper 212+ do it? How much overclock will I get with this cooler? One more question is that I had the dualcore center running perfectly some days ago. But now when I try to run it, it runs but then hangs up. It always kepps on hanging up. I tried reinstaling it. I even downloaded the same version(2.0.6.8)but the prob. still persists.
I don't want to try other overclocking tools.plz help!!!!!!!!!

The Hyper 212+ is a great cooler value wise for any platform imo.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

The Hyper 212+ is one for the best for price/performance coolers that u can get. We can't say how much u can OC the CPU since the OC depends of ur skill and mobos features.
