Hi

My 2 EAH4850 cards runs 50c when at load 80-95c, weird dead pixels starts to form round in the 75-80c while playing CSS and Left 4 Dead at full detail, the pixels changes colours and usually forms at dark areas at 100% fan speed. The cards still sounds very quiet compared to 50% fan speed.
When pixels form for a certain amount of time, the PC automatically crashes with black screen.
I'm Wondering if its my monitors problem or 2 faulty cards? I wonder if this is happening to u lot as well.
I've changed the 2 cards around and i still get that problem while gaming. I'm scared to run Crysis at full detail incase it wrecks the 2 cards.

My current specs are:
DP45SG Intel mobo (P45 Chipset)
Q6600 2,4 ghz
4GB DDR3 1333mhz
800W PSU
2x EAH4850 1GB DDR3
Xblade(black) case
Windows Vista Ultimate x64

Anyways to solve these problems? i dont want to spend anymore money already... already spent alot =/

Thanks
Reply ASAP for solutions plz

Hello and welcome to the forums mate :)

What are the full specs of your PSU ?
Have u updated the VGA driver to the latest version ?
Can u test with another monitor ?

well, i cant really remember what the PSU full specs were, i dont have the retailers box :(
I installed the CCC and ATI driver from the disc which came with it first then downloaded the lastest Display Driver from the main ATI website. If i hadnt of done that, the new CCC doesnt have the Crossfire tab to activate Crossfire.

i will try soon on my brothers Monitor to see if it works, hes always nusy on it so i might need some time to test it out

What type of PSU, specs?
I see mention of different fan speeds in there, what speeds do you run the fans at while gaming?
Are your cards OCed at all?

*edit* sorru about the PSU question didnt read, but there should be info about the rails and ratings and such on a sticker somewhere on the PSU itself. Or a model number you can get off.

LPG19-43 PSU 800w

I always have my fan running at 100% speed using CCC, im not too sure what speed it runs in games... since i minimise, CCC says 100% so i assume its at 100%?
none of my cards r OC'ed didnt edit anything except fan speed
