Hello,
I cannot access my mp4 player!
I opened "My Computer" and the device was shown as "Removable Disk (F:)" but when I doubleclicked to open the device I get the message- "f: refers to a location that is not available, etc"
Can you PLEASE HELP?????

It looks like this device was transferred from a different computer to the present one. Therefore, the drive letter might have been different. Change the drive letter to, say "P" (for player).

Get into Control Panel ---> Administrative Tools ---> Computer Management

Look for your device and change the drive letter to "P"

Read more about doing this (Win XP) at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307844
The procedure is very similar for Win 7

After doing this, specify drive letter "P" for programs that seek this device.

Thanks for your help this worked perfectly!!! I had a flash drive that was working great and all of a sudden it gave me the same error. I changed the drive letter to F from E and it opens perfectly.

Thanks!
