Hi, I have the Gigabyte GA-EP43-S3L mobo which ended up getting a corrubp bios, until this everything ran lightening fast no probs whatsoever. i sent it back and got a replacement, now windows takes longer to load, the bios takes longer to boot and programs seem to run generally slower. is this the mobo problem or something else? setup as follows;

Core 2 Duo E8400
Gigabyte GA-EP43-S3L bios F8
Kingston Hyper X memory 2x2Gb 800mhz
Arctic Freezer Pro 7
Gforce 9400GT 1gb.
500w psu
Vista home 64bit

Hi thanks, yes everything is fine in the bios, even overclocked to 3.6g but windows still takes an age to load and program response times are still slow. i'm now assuming this is some windows problem, but its only happened since the new mobo
