i just bought the creative x-fi xtreme gamer sound card but i cant set it up. It says new hardware found in multimedia audio contoller but does not detect any driver on the CD provided. I ran the setup and it did install a driver but it was in the wrong place, it was where onboard drivers are installed, i had previously unistalled my onboard realtek AC 97 driver before installing the sound card. EVen when i check for auto update it says no need for an update as driver already installed but there is no sound. Please help !!
