I just ran SMART with HDDScan 3.3 which reported these errors:
Num Attribute name Value Worst
196 Reallocation event count 100 100
197 Current pending errors count 100 100
198 Uncorrectable Errors Count 100 100
254 G-shock/Free-fall Event Count 100 100
It´s a Dell XPS laptop so i ran their diagnostic tool aswell, which reports only success:
Device Quick Check - PASS
Read test - PASS
Seek test - PASS
SMART test - PASS
Verify test - PASS
Also chkdsk reports no errors.
So, we have two different SMART tests that gives two different reports.
Which should I rely on?
Should I try a third app to run some tests?
