My Dad recently purchased a 5th wheel trailer. It had a WinGARD dish on it
with a Dish Network 4900 receiver. The receiver didn't have a card.
We already have a Dish 500 system with a two receivers (a PVR and a 301).
I'd like to be able to take the 301 receiver and connect it to the WinGARD
dish so they have TV when they travel. I tried it, but the 301 receiver
doesn't find a switch when it does a switch test.
Does anyone know how I can make this work. Do I need a new LNB on the
WinGARD dish? The one on there says it is a WinGARD Digital LNBF, 12.2-12.7
Ghz and a bunch of numbers.
Can I just by a DishPro LNB and put in on the WinGARD dish?
Thanks for any info.
