Hi

i was wondering if any component may improve overall performance on my current build.

CPU-E8400
Graphic card-Crossfire 4850
Hard drive-Wd-Velociraptor-300gb
and a second drive seagate 250gb
Ram-2gb ddr-3-1333 Pc3-10600 GSkill
Monitor-Dell 22inch with a viewsonic 19inch
Sound-Logitech5.1 Z5500
Motherboard MSIx48c

Is my cpu all right, i read a few reviews and many people had commented that quad core was a waste unless you were doing heavy video encoding or photoshop.

I basically listen to music , game and surf the internet . Once in a while i do some dvd encoding .

i really like this forum so i just wanted some comments and opinions.

Upgrade to 4GB RAM.

Beyond that... The next upgrade might be a good CPU cooler and an overclock.
