hello everyone;im new here and need help with my mobo
my mobo[asus gene 2 rampage]posts and it says "drive not found"
i then go into bios and bios does detect drive[wd caviar black 750 gb sata]
i then save and exit ;after restart i get "drive not found" again [it does this all the time]
i have 4 gb ocz 1333 ram
win 64 vista;updated to new bios[809]

hi vista 64 was originally installed on asus p5b del mobo without any problems over 6 mos ago
i then bought gene mobo and replaced p5b

its there in the BIOS yes?

doesi t come up with "inporper boot device2 or something?

So you installed the operating system on the P5B and then tried to just move the hard drive to a new motherboard without re-installing the OS? That's your problem.
