Hey lads,

I noticed my WoW crashes after 20 min playing on my new 4870x2. Other games like fear2 etc run fine.

Any ideas?

couldn't edit my own message for some reason so:

My system components are:

Asus p6t Deluxe
6gig of Corsair Dominator ddr3 running at 1066mhz atm. Is this correct with the following cpu:
Intel i7 940
Sapphire Radeon 4870x2

I've heard about this. Have you checked the WoW tech support forums? Here's a link to the WoW forums where someone suggests temporarily disabling Aero under Vista (if you have Vista) just prior to starting the game:

It's a known issue, though I don't know if it's related to dual GPU's or a particular Catalyst revision. Blizzard and AMD really need to work this out together.

 

Mine plays LOTRO: Mines of Moria just fine, Turbine just doesn't provide Crossfire support.

I could never get mine to work with Wow... I bought a 4870 which I used exclusively for that game.
