I7 920 first time build advice very welcome

Hi all this is my first post. My name is matt im a new yorker but currently studying in germany. Plan on building my first computer when i return at the end of February. Here are a list of components its priced at around $1700 with mostly all newegg and getting some microsoft cashback. Im looking to stay in this range no higher than $1800. Little background im a gamer rts mostly and fps online. I dont really use up alot of space, games, essential software and some music. Also if anyone has a suggestion on whether i should take advantage of deals now or wait till i get home to buy anything ie: warranties and price decreases and stuff. Ive checked and double checked compatibility but if anyone sees something that doesn't fly let me know. Also any tips on the actual building of the computer ie: anti-static wristband or what have you. Live out your computer building wishes through my wallet lol. Thanks

All looks good. Only one thing: Change HDD to the 640 gb version of that Hard drive WD6401AALS, its larger and faster.

You might also consider getting a bigger case. I like the CoolerMaster 690, but that case should fit all your components.

If you are going to overclock, you should get a good CPU cooler Like Monsoon III LT

If you want the ability to add a second video card, replace the 650TX with an 1000HX.

If not, you could downgrade to GA-EP45-UD3R/Q9550/DDR2 and save a lot.
