Huh? Triples actually 2% better than quads in gaming? hell has frozen over...
(ok, only the eight circle, but whatever...)
and yea, i'm a tripple cripple too, Phenom II x3 720 BE at 3.2 ghz...
Does anyone think Intel can sell triple cores? it can only make them more money like it is doing now to AMD, but i guess they got enough money to fart to care.

AMD's duals cant compete with Intels duals...its the sole reason why triple cores exist.
Sorry for re-posting, wasn't able to edit my previous post for some reason. Also, shouldn't the TH team do the same test on a Phenom II X3? It seems like a leap to me to benchmark an Intel processor, and generalize the results to apply to AMD:
Quad cores offer no benefits in the sampling of games we tested. While more games might change the landscape a little, we think the triple-core Phenom II X3s are looking good as a low-cost gaming option.
