No, some boards will run the CPU at 533 and some will simply not boot. Some of the ones that do boot will report "unknown CPU please update BIOS" but then disable boot when you do update BIOS.
It's all about how BIOS is programed, some BIOS works and other BIOS does not.
You can probably find your motherboard's manual somewhere online and then you can download it and look at the BIOS screens to see of you'll be able to adjust the fsb settings. You may be able to find which CPUs are compatible with the motherboard.
