Hello this is one of my relatives computers It's specs are

E4500 Intel core 2 duo processor

3GB DDR2 Memory

500 GB SATA Hard Disk

ATI RADEON HD2400Pro Graphics

Windows vista home premIum


The power supply has about 500 watts that should be enough.

but I play my games for about 1 to 2 minutes and then about 2 to 5 seconds of lag and then the screen either gets pixelated
or goes black but in the end it says "no signal" please help I've had this problem for MONTHS now and NOTHING IVE DONE HELPED! REPLY ASAP!

It does sound like a power issue with the graphics but last I remember the HD2400Pro was not a particularly power hungry card (like some). Could it be it is just overheating, maybe the fan on it is not working correctly?

Does this also happen when games are not being played?

It sounds like the GPU may have overheated. Even a cheap 500W PSU should have been enough for this system (i.e. the ones only good for 250W).
Do you have another graphics card to use for testing? If not, get yourself a 4650 for a huge performance boost.
