Triple channel kit

Hi was looking to get a triple channel kit ram 6gb kit of 3, but if i get 3 of 2 gb ram it is cheaper. What should i do, does the peformance have any effect

Unless you're running a 64-bit OS, I suggest you just go for a 3 x 1GB RAM kit. In any case, the less sticks you use the better, as they generate less heat. Hope this helps!

any more than 3gig is a waste of money for a 32bit os

you can buy the sticks individually to save money but you need to verify the right type, speed, cas, and voltage
