Biostar TA790GXB problem

Hi everyone, I made the mistake in buying a a low cost Biostar TA790GXB Motherboard and paired it up with a AMD Phenom II 940. But sadly, I am not able to get my GTX285 to function with this motherboard. The video card was working fine with my previous setup. I made sure to connect it properly, I also have the latest BIOS. I have also toyed around with the bios options several times and still no progress. If anyone has a similar setup and knows how to solve this please help. I'm not to familiar with Biostars bios configurations, so i'm hoping it's something wrong with the settings that way i don't have to return everything all together.

Hey 10sion, mind providing more details? What do you mean by not functioning properly? It runs too slow? It won't display anything?

There shouldn't be a problem just because it is a biostar. What power supply do you have, and was it also in your previous setup ?

when you toyed with the bios setups was the card installed or did you use onboard video ?
